Cameron Highlands – Location to Expose Hospitality and Tourism Students’ Talent
CAMERON HIGHLANDS – A total of 43 students from the 4th Semester in Diploma in Hotel and Tourism Management programme, with four lecturers have organized a few activities at Tanah Rata Cameron Highlands, Pahang on 23rd to 25th January 2016. This activity was known as Short Vacay to Cameron Highlands, a joint effort between students who are taking Event Management and Tour Guide course. In addition, it is a requirement and compulsory to be taken by all students in the 4th Semester in exposing them to the tour guide techniques, style of handling and responsibilities as tourist guides.
This activity was led by Hasimatulaina Binti Naim with other committee members, has been assigned to plan some fun activities during their stay in Cameron Highlands. Some of the activities include a visit to the Tea Plantation, Agro Technology Park, Cactus Valley, Shahrol Strawberry Agro Farm, Ee Feng Gu Bee Farm and Farmers Arcade Lavender Garden.
CAMERON HIGHLANDS – Seramai 43 orang pelajar yang terdiri daripada pelajar Semester 4 Diploma Pengurusan Pelancongan dan Perhotelan, bersama empat orang pensyarah pengiring telah menganjurkan satu aktiviti ke Tanah Rata Cameron Highlands, Pahang pada 23 hingga 25 Januari 2016. Aktiviti ini yang dikenali dengan ‘Short Vacay to Cameron Highlands’ merupakan gabungan usaha antara pelajar yang mengambil kursus Pengurusan Acara dan Teknik Pemandu Pelancong. Selain itu, program ini dianjurkan bagi memenuhi keperluan kedua-dua kursus tersebut yang wajib diambil oleh semua pelajar Semester 4 bagi mendedahkan teknik, gaya pengendalian dan tanggungjawab sebenar seorang pemandu pelancong.
Aktiviti ini yang diketuai oleh Hasimatulaina Binti Naim bersama ahli jawatankuasa yang lain telah ditugaskan merancang beberapa aktiviti menarik sepanjang berada di Cameron Highlands. Antaranya ialah lawatan ke Ladang Teh, Taman Agro Teknologi, Cactus Valley, Shahrol Agro Strawberry Farm, Ee Feng Gu Bee Farm dan Arked Peladang Lavender Garden.
