The field of nursing is precious and valuable because it helps those in need apart from working with doctors as a team to perform the duties of medical treatments and carrying out clinical procedures. Nursing profession is very challenging, especially when attending patients, as well as to keep calm and not panicking when faced with emergency situations.
This field has a bright employment prospect, both in local and international job market. Diploma in nursing programme curriculum structure is designed to take into account the resolution and quality standard of Malaysia’s Nursing Board. It includes the cognitive component of nursing skills and adequate training to enable INSTEDT graduates to register with the Malaysia’s Nursing Board.

Admission Requirements
- Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with at least three (3) credits in any subjects including Bahasa Melayu, Mathematics and Science and pass in English Language; or
- Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) and Posses Assistant Nurse Certificate / Community Nurse Certificate, Registered with Malaysia Nursing Board (MNB), Possess current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) for Nurse from MNB with minimum three (3) years clinical woking experience
After passing the Malaysia’s Nursing Board Examination, graduates will have the opportunities to work in any government and private hospitals/clinics, nursing homes and health-related industries in both domestic and overseas markets
