Diploma in Islamic Studies is designed to develop individual with admirable character and practice Islam as the way of life. Through this program, graduates will have different advantages during the study period and they will be able to choose the desired career in any fields which is not only religious institutions.
In order to produce versatile graduates, one of approaches used is by sending the students for practical training of internship in high demand sectors such as banking, legal services and non-governmental services. The purpose is to form the noble personality of human capital, efficiency, quality and proactive in ensuring that they are not left behind in the industrial development and to assist the development of the country. This program also provides an opportunity for those who have keen interest in Islam and they will have strong based in the challenges of scientific and technological progress.
Some of the courses in this program are the knowledge of Laws, Economics, Communication and Preaching, The Legal System, Hadarah Islamic Civilization, Philosophy and Comparative Religion and also Arabic Language. Besides that, students will be exposed to the Management and Information System, Computer Applications and English Language.
Admission Requirements
Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with at least three (3) credits in any subjects and pass in Islamic Education or Arabic Language; OR
Pass O-level with at least Grade C in three (3) subjects; OR
Any equivalent qualifications recognized by Malaysian Government
